Beef tartare with sweet peppers and olive oil

Hello everyone, today we will make a beef tartare

Preparation time: 45 minutes For 5 people


Ingredients:

- 1 clove of garlic

- 1 shallot (or half an onion)

- 1 red sweet pepper

- 500 g of very lean beef (by the butcher)

- 2 tablespoons of basil (optional)

- 6 tablespoons of olive oil

- 3 tablespoons of lemon juice

- A few drops of Tabasco

- A pinch of salt and some pepper

Preparation:

  1. Peel the garlic clove and the shallot, then finely chop them. Seed the sweet pepper and then chop it too.

  2. Place the beef in a salad bowl, add the shallot, the garlic, the basil, the sweet pepper, the olive oil, the lemon juice, Tabasco, some salt, and some pepper.

  3. Mix all these ingredients well with a spoon, taste, and adjust the seasoning if necessary. Place the salad bowl in the refrigerator for at least thirty minutes

  4. Divide the tartare among the plates in small domes. Sprinkle a little basil and serve very fresh.
