Hello everyone, today we will make a shrimp salad
Preparation time: 35 minutes Cooking time: 7 minutes
Serves 4
Ingredients:
- 16 pink shrimps
- 1 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 sprig of fresh thyme
- 1 small oak leaf salad
- 2 avocados
- 1 pink grapefruit
- 1 mango
- 1 small pineapple
- 1 stalk of celery
- Balsamic vinegar
- Olive oil
- Salt
For the cocktail sauce:
- 4 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 3 tablespoons of ketchup
- Salt and black pepper
- Juice of 1/2 lemon
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauceIngredients:
Preparation:
In a pot of boiling salted water, plunge the black pepper, thyme, bay leaf, then put the shrimps and let them cook at a low simmer for 7 minutes. At the end of cooking, drain them with a skimmer and put them in a dish. Let them cool, then shell them and remove with a small knife the black gut by splitting the top of the back. Cut the tails off the shrimp. Set the shrimp aside in a cool place.
Wash the lettuce and remove the leaves, then gently spin-dry. Cut the avocados in half, stick the blade of the knife into the pit: tap the handle of your knife along your sink with a sharp blow, this will make the pit fall out safely. Do not try to remove it by hand. Peel the avocado halves by hand and cube them into 4 slices first, then into 6 on the other side. Peel the grapefruit raw and separate the segments. Also peel the mango and pineapple and dice them.
In a bowl, mix the mayonnaise with the ketchup, Worcestershire sauce and lemon juice, and season with salt and black pepper.
Place salad, grapefruit, shrimp, avocado, mango, pineapple and celery in a large dish. Season with olive oil and balsamic vinegar and season with salt and black pepper. Add the cocktail sauce throughout and enjoy!
Here's a photo of how it turned out:
I hope you enjoyed it!!!
See you!
